Grass cutting

Nothing sets off a garden better than a beautiful lawn!
We usually cut lawns on either a weekly or fortnightly basis. Every three weeks or monthly will lead to problems of too much grass to cut low and will not save any money in the long term as the increased difficulty means increased costs. We like to leave the cuttings on site either in your recycling bin or on your compost heap.

FORMAL LAWNS

We normally stripe formal areas using a rotary roller mower to give that classic english ish garden look. The grass from these areas is collected. We do not use cylinder mowers at present and find that the cut from a modern rotary mower with a rear roller is sufficient for most formal lawn areas

ROUGH AREAS

For bigger areas that are less formal we use a commercial grade mulching mower. If cut regularly this will leave no visible grass cuttings on the top. The cuttings are blown back in to the lawn to fertilize it. We can collect large rough areas but most clients are very happy with mulching
